Fly a Plane INTO Your House
That’s not even the riskiest part...
What’s up, friends?
Today’s home is so secluded, the personal plane you need to access it literally has its own runway plane-sized room inside.
But, no, that does not mean this home is affluent in any way, shape, or form. So don’t get your hopes up.
Built in 1984, this Pennsylvania home also hasn’t seen anything past 1985. Filled with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and over 4 acres of land, this property takes all its opportunities… and flies right past them.
The wide angle of the home is really emphasized by the wide lens used in all of these listing photos. You’ll soon see the bummer that is the underutilization of these spaces.
For being a VERY 1980s home, the layout is pretty contemporary -and by that I mean open-concept. The flow of the living room, dining room, and kitchen is centered around the double-sided fireplace.
This entire space feels so full, yet so barren. It’s like how the red couch and green carpet technically go together… but (when actually seeing it) it feels incomplete.
Appliances? From the 80s. Cabinetry? From the 80s. Lighting? From the 80s.
I feel it is necessary to note that this walk-in pantry is 6 feet by 6 feet. And I feel that way because the property description was only three sentences long, and, for whatever reason, that detail made the cut.
Screaming from the 1980s is this bedspread! Once again, there’s so much in this room, but it feels so empty. I wouldn’t be surprised if I ghost lived in there.
Thought that the green wouldn’t seep into the bathroom? Think again! In every bathroom of this house, those green vine accents span the walls -and terrifying all of those who enter.
Oh, and are you curious about the other two bedrooms?
Well, don’t be because they’re empty.
Now, we can finally take a peek at the plane room -that I know you’ve been antsy to see.
Notice how I said “peek” because that is the closest picture of the space. Honestly, the listing doesn’t provide us any information on it at all. Due to its size and 1700 feet of personal runway space, it’s clearly made for aviation.
Did you notice how this patch of grass is a runway? No. Oh, is that because it’s just a neglected space on this property? Probably.
Speaking of neglected open spaces, this home is rich in those. There are many lengthy spaces for storage, or (in this case) just oxygen.
Two workshop spaces are included in this home. They are both packed to the brim with materials… but 2 of the 3 bedrooms are empty? Explain that.
I just can’t wrap my head around what a former owner of this home did for work. Like you needed all this storage space? All these dated appliances? And a home so secluded that you need your own plane to fit inside?
My guess: they didn’t have a job -just a lot of paranoia. And that, my friends, is still as prevalent as ever today.
