Mini Golf Castle GONE HUGE
Putt-putt down these hallways.
What’s up, friends?
While the architect of this home probably wanted to emulate the grandiose of medieval buildings, all I see is a supersized, tacky mini-golf course castle.

Built in 1991, this 5-bed, 4-bath home is listed at just under two million dollars. That’s a lot of money for a single round of putt-putt. Although it sits on 10 acres lot, and there’s no moat around your palace, a cute decorative pond invites guests onto your property.
Plus, there’s even a golf cart!

Inside, the living room greets you to your royal court: vines, swords, and multiple coats of armour. If I’m being honest, I don’t mind this medieval vibe. There’s an affluent feeling behind the tile floors and cathedral ceilings -that I quite like.

Near the living room and the home’s entrance, this powder room seems to predate the term “powder room”. Sure, let’s cover the wall with a shield, the. slap a metal trough atop a barrel and call it a sink. Whatever.

Cooking up some mutton? This kitchen has the space for some of that! Though, it does have the design elements to keep you intrigued (dual wood type cabinetry!).

And the cushioned window seating is for your peasants, right?

From the floor of the primary bedroom, this place is unique but standard: a circular room, glass work on the exterior doors, barrel chairs -wait, what’s up there…

Is this based on some medieval “battle” pit for spectators to watch? Regardless of the historical (or steamy) nature of this design, I’d be antsy that someone COULD WATCH ME SLEEP!!
No thank you. Absolutely not.

Oddly enough, I do feel like this bathroom found the perfect balance of historical theming with contemporary appliances. Is the tree branch sink base a bit weird? Yes, but the wood paneling with the paneled shower glass looks nice together.

These secondary bedrooms have lost the plot a bit: royal rug and luxury chair… with a poster of Bob Marley? And ornate window furnishings… with Japanese garden artwork?
They’re just ever so slightly missing the mark -not that the primary bedroom was any better!

To be honest, I don’t love the decor of this “office” space, but wanted to highlight the custom ceiling molding that feels both on-theme and chic.

This pool is giving “classy amusement park” -and I mean that as a compliment. Those dragon heads protect the multiple pool bathes amongst the rocky deck.

Wooden seats are your outdoor throne, in front of the cathedral-like window and arches.

With all 10 acres this property provides, you could build your own mini golf course! It could even be a giant mini-golf course to compensate for the size of the home… though, at that point, it would just be normal golf. Oh well.
