Way too much empty space!
Unlimitedly liminal.
What’s up, friends?
Today’s home has way too much space -and I don’t mean in a “giant castle” type of way… I mean that it’s huge, and no amount of furniture could make the size of this place seem necessary, usable, or even normal. You’re either next to a random chair or you’re floating in a liminal space. There’s no inbetween.

Built in 2022, this Georgia-based mansion has a whopping 8 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and 18.8k sqft. The lighting chose to highlight that there’s also an “attached garage” -but with OVER 18 THOUSAND SQFT, I’d HOPE the garage is attached. Especially given that it can hold 6 cars.
Also, pause for a moment. Why is this place so darn HUGE? Was this built for a ginormous family? A cult? The bones of a disbanded commune? Regardless, when I found this place it cost $6.2 million, but y’all are lucky today because -since writing this- the price has dropped 625k, to a new list price of $5.5 million. How modest!

Up front, the door is very cute. It feel comfy… despite the looming hugeness of the industrial walls that surround it.

Inside, we’re greeted by various, disjointed living spaces…

There’s a central couch and tv… a circle of round chairs, two random desks, and a few tables reminder of those found on the sides outside of a café.

Yeah, the huge house does have a nicely sized kitchen. There’s a premium Wolfe range, 2 dishwashers, and shelves on shelves in the walk-in pantry.

This “table atop a rug” is reminiscent of an island floating in the middle of the sea. It’s just kinda there… attached to nothing whatsoever.

Over at the other end of this “airplane bunker” of a home, there’s (what I like to call) “The Neighborhood Bar”.

Yes, it is a bar. But I’m naming it like it’s an establishment because this house is sooo long, you might as well be down the street at the neighborhood bar.

I mean… There's a pool table nearby… so I can't not call it a bar!
While you’re responsibly drinking, besides all of the empty space, where are the children going to play?

Obviously, a windowless, empty -but carpeted- room!

Take the hallway down to the various bedrooms… and you’re find: crazy cages, air hockey, ping pong, another pool table, and more large cages.

Welcome to the primary bedroom… with the same grey floors… white walls… and just bunch of basic stuff.
But the kids’ rooms? There are more photos of the kids’ rooms than the primary bedroom. We’ve got a full view of the boys’ bedrooms…

And the girls' bedrooms…

It’s all very bland, with slop thrown on top. At least one of the bedrooms is unique: an immovable bedframe with two grey bean bag chairs.

With all those beds, there’s bound to be a lot of laundry needed. Luckily, this place has 5 washer-dyer units for all those sudsy needs.

Outside, the extreme amount of acres this property has uses it well in one regard: the pool.

Described as a “resort-style pool,” this oasis has a slide, hot tub / spa, and waterfall. And, yes, it’s slightly reminiscent of a 2-star resort.

Why does the water slide look like it was built upon a pile of rocks? Plus, looking at the house from this angle, it looks like it should be on the coast… not here.

After buying this place, you’ve now got more acres than you need. You’ve got more square-footage than you need. Why not procure more food than you need? Might I suggest… deer.

I’d envy the deers if I lived in this home. Because at least the deers can run freely, far, far way from here. And I’d be stuck in the never ending maze-prison of a home.
